Job Title: Auditor Supervisor
About the role:
As a key member of the Société Générale Group's internal audit team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the management and audit activities of the GBIS Business Lines, specifically SGSS S.p.a and SG Milan Branch
- Define the focus of audit missions, staffing assignments, and oversee execution at all stages, ensuring compliance with audit methodology and International Standards
- Communicate with auditees, business correspondents, and Central Teams on proposed audit plans and individual audit missions
- Develop a multiannual and annual audit plan for the area and companies entrusted
- Participate in auditor training, methodology development, and internal audit projects, sharing information with team members and promoting innovative methods and procedures
- Monitor the quality of corrective measures and approve their closure
- Provide assessments to senior management and control bodies of the bank and subsidiaries when needed
- Oversee a team of employees, leading and developing audit teams to ensure adequate expertise and competence for audit missions
Requirements:
- Higher education degree
- At least 7-8 years of experience in auditing
- Banking background is mandatory
- Fluency in Italian and English, French as a plus
- Excellent knowledge of banking and financial markets, familiarity with banking laws, regulations, and professional standards
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, excellent oral and written communication
- Independence, objectivity, assertiveness, and conflict of interest management
- Team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic environment
