NTT DATA ITALIA S.P.A. is seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Business Intelligence Service Line, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers in Big Data projects.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives.
- Deliver data acquisition, transformations, and improvement, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into data lakes.
- Work in a cloud native environment, leveraging Azure infrastructure and networking expertise.
- Develop and deliver proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs, using the most appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies.
- Migrate workloads from on-premise to cloud environments, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Monitor distributed infrastructure using Azure tools or open-source solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in a cloud native environment, with a focus on Azure.
- Expertise in Big Data Architectures, cloud, and on-premise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and networking.
- Experience with Agile Methodology and Kanban.
- Leadership experience in medium-sized teams.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting.
- SQL language knowledge.
- Big Data certification, such as Cloudera or Databricks.
- Experience with non-Azure ETL/ELT solutions.
- Knowledge of Data Visualization solutions.
