Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Control Manager in the execution of the cost control process, ensuring compliance with Company quality requirements, Project Execution Plan, and standard methodologies and procedures.
  • Lead the Cost Control team in the day-to-day activities, providing guidance, supervision, and monitoring to ensure effective project execution.
  • Develop and maintain the Original Budget, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Establish and implement the Project Organization Scheme, including Joint Ventures and Consortium details, within the Cost Control System.
  • Ensure knowledge and proficiency of Company Tools, such as Project Objects, SAP, Marian, and Capital Project.
  • Set up and implement the Project Invoicing Register, adhering to Company procedures and Department standards.
  • Organize and manage the Project activities workflow, assigning specific tasks to the Cost Control team.
  • Develop the Invoicing Procedure, aligning with Contractual requirements and Project Director/Manager indications.
  • Assist in the assessment of the Estimate to Complete for Project Phases, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
  • Support the Project team in evaluating Accruals costs for each Project Phase.
  • Perform periodical control activities to assess project forecasts, identifying deviations versus the Original/Revised Budget.
  • Support the Risks Analysis team in evaluating costs impact and contingency allocation due to potential variations.
  • Support the Contract Manager in evaluating cost impact connected with internal and external changes.
  • Populate the Budget Deviation form for PD/PM assessment and approval in case of overrun.
  • Prepare and update the Contractual Revenues Matrix for Project financing structures.
  • Prepare and issue Periodical Reports, Corporate Budget/Revised budget, and other relevant documents.

Requirements:

  • Proactive approach as part of the Project Team, oriented to the fulfillment of project objectives.
  • Guarantee proper interface with Company Financial and Project Control Department.
  • Provide feedback to the Responsible of Cost Control concerning problems/deviations arising from the application of standard methods and work instruction.
  • Guarantee the integrity of data during assessment of the Estimate to Complete.
  • Ensure technical specific improvement of the discipline.
  • Ensure the professional growth of the Cost Control Engineers and Junior Cost Controllers.
