Job Description

Qascom Srl is seeking a highly skilled R&D Navigation Engineer to join our team in Bassano del Grappa, Italy. As part of our R&D team, you will be involved in engineering activities supporting major national and international R&D projects in the Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) sector, with a focus on Satellite Navigation Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct state-of-the-art reviews of PNT technologies, techniques, and future trends
  • Design innovative PNT concepts at system and user levels
  • Develop simulators to test innovative PNT concepts
  • Evaluate and critically assess developed PNT concepts
  • Design and assess future satellite communication systems
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in telecommunications engineering
  • PhD in scientific topics (considered a plus)
  • 2 years of experience in the space sector
  • Knowledge of Signal Processing
  • Experience in Matlab or Python programming (desirable)
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Upper Intermediate level of written and spoken English
