We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our team at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, a research organization dedicated to developing human-centered Science and Technology to tackle societal challenges. Our Genoa headquarters are interconnected with other centers around Italy and the US.

The research line is led by Dr. Lucia Beccai. You will collaborate with a team to carry out common research within outstanding facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware and firmware systems for large-area flexible electronic skins and soft tactile sensing arrays.
  • Test the developed systems.

Requirements:

  • MSc in electrical or electronic engineering and experience in working in a research & development environment.
  • Strong skills in electrical CAD, simulation tools, microcontroller programming, and electronic instruments.
  • Ability to properly report, organize, and publish research data.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
