About the Role:

Tenova, a leading provider of sustainable and innovative solutions in the metals and mining industries, is seeking an Expediter to join its Upstream Team. As an Expediter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's ability to deliver products on time and meet customer quality and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage orders assigned to you and ensure their execution in compliance with contractual conditions, in coordination with the Expediter coordinator.
  • Monitor suppliers' progress, track the issuance of their progress reports, and update the company management system to ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and issue visit reports, highlighting any delays or nonconformities, and suggest corrective actions to prevent potential delays.
  • Coordinate with the project team and managers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with the quality engineer to plan inspection tests and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Verify temporary packages and quantities to be shipped, and coordinate with the logistics department to schedule material pick-ups.
  • Support customer expediters during supplier workshop visits.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken is mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong self-supporting/independent character, and good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments.
  • An open-minded attitude and desire to take on new challenges.
