What you'll do:

  • Leverage your PostgreSQL skills to design and implement high-performance databases.
  • Manage connections efficiently using PG bouncer and other tools.
  • Scale distributed PostgreSQL features using extensions.
  • Apply your NoSQL expertise to handle high volumes of data.
  • Implement message queuing, indexing, high-availability, and high-performance data concepts.
  • Profile and trace databases to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Apply your Linux/Unix expertise to manage data effectively.
  • Utilize Kubernetes and Key-Value Stores if available.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in software development and 3+ years in database expertise roles.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in English and ideally one more language.
