Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our esteemed client, a leading entrepreneurial organization within the Automotive industry. This pivotal role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the routine accounting, fiscal, and administrative functions across the group’s companies;
  • Assist the CFO in the management of the Information Technology department;
  • Supervise the activities of administrative staff, stepping in for bookkeeping to ensure timely accounting closures;
  • Handle monthly VAT closures, as well as quarterly and annual VAT declarations and communications;
  • Play a crucial role in developing tailored reporting and economic analysis systems to aid company management in administration, financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting;
  • Coordinate and prepare for the creation of statutory and consolidated financial statements;
  • Manage and oversee intragroup transactions and the associated reconciliations;
  • Review daily cash closures, as well as incoming and outgoing invoicing flows and bank accounting;
  • Generate reports on monthly, quarterly, and annual liquidity flows and perform related reconciliations;
  • Prepare tax and corporate returns to support the CFO;
  • Assist with the activities of the Board of Statutory Auditors and other Control Bodies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or a related field;
  • A minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in a similar role within medium-sized companies, preferably in the automotive sector;
  • Proficient in English;
  • Strong command of major ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines;
  • Exemplary precision, organizational skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
