As a Corporate Lending Analyst at ING, you will play a key role in our Corporate Sector Lending Team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing a suitable portfolio of complex corporate clients in all credit-related matters, focusing on origination and execution of new requests, as well as taking responsibility for in-life management.

We are seeking an Analyst who is proficient in financial analysis, has strong analytical and communication skills, and is able to work independently and in agile teams.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of complex corporate clients in all credit-related matters, focusing on origination and execution of new requests.
  2. Structure and lead the negotiation of credit facilities with customers, working in partnership with relationship managers and following up on the implementation/documentation of new credit facilities.
  3. Originate and execute complex/non-standard deals, advising teams such as Loan Distribution, Debt & Capital Advisory, and Debt Capital Markets.
  4. Prepare credit packages according to ING policy and defend credit requests for approval to relevant approval mandate holders.
  5. Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge on lending products, ING policies, and the general economic environment.

Requirements:

  1. University degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, maths, or equivalent.
  2. 1-2 years of work experience in the financial sector, preferably within a lending or credit risk-related environment.
  3. Good knowledge of financial analysis.
  4. Analytical and communication skills.
  5. Commercial drive and proactive mindset.
  6. Ability to work independently and in agile teams.
  7. Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English.
