General Manager Position

CampusX S.r.l. is a leading Italian hybrid hospitality company offering unique living experiences tailored to meet the diverse needs of international guests.

We are excited to announce the opening of our new facility in Naples, scheduled for 2025, featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure and cutting-edge amenities.

This modern campus will boast 75 hotel rooms, 11 hostel dorms, an expansive 800 sqm co-working area, and 267 rooms designed to foster networking and productivity.

To drive the success of this ambitious project, we seek a seasoned General Manager with exceptional leadership skills and experience in strategic management.

  • The ideal candidate will oversee the pre-opening and opening phases, coordinating supplier searches and logistical arrangements for a seamless launch.
  • They will optimize operational and project activities to enhance efficiency and functionality, aligning with the company's objectives.
  • Responsibilities include supervising staff, setting clear objectives, and ensuring service delivery meets quality standards.
  • The General Manager will be responsible for introducing, interpreting, and applying operational procedures and standards effectively.
  • Collaboration with external companies (maintenance, housekeeping, security, F&B) will be essential, working closely with the Technical Department.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to implementing Head Office initiatives at the facility and participate in defining the annual budget by proposing investments and improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations related to structure management and fulfilling associated obligations (HACCP; fire prevention; environmental protection; etc.) is also crucial.
  • The General Manager will maintain relations with local public and private bodies, universities, and associations in coordination with Head Office structures involved.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in the hospitality industry, including at least two years as Hotel Manager or General Manager, preferably in structured contexts with hybrid hospitality models.
  • Proven experience in coordination roles during pre-opening and opening phases of complex structures, with in-depth knowledge of the local market and city of Naples.
  • Excellent leadership and staff management skills, with a focus on managing complex and diverse contexts.
  • Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken, with additional foreign language proficiency being an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven experience in managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
Estimated Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 per annum
