Power Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer to join our Research and Development team at Eggtronic Engineering Spa. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of next-generation power converters, working closely with our team of experts to design, simulate, and test high-efficiency power conversion systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze project specifications and select the most suitable power conversion topology
- Perform hardware simulations and design control loops for high-power converters
- Develop schematics and bill of materials for power conversion systems
- Collaborate with colleagues to design printed circuit boards and develop control firmware
- Debug prototypes and identify testing tools and procedures
- Ensure compliance with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety regulations
- Perform cost optimization and report to the Head of Engineering and/or the Head of Research Activities
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Native level of Italian and good English (B1 or higher)
- Experience with Altium and LTspice
- Knowledge of resonant converters, wireless power transfer, and RF power amplifiers
- Programming skills in C (STM8, STM32, dsPIC) and VHDL
- Team player with problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
