Siegwerk, a leading supplier of Printing Inks and sustainable packaging solutions, seeks a seasoned professional to lead its Italian operations as Managing Director. This key role will be responsible for developing and implementing country strategies, managing local P&L, and ensuring business plans and financial objectives are achieved.

As Managing Director, you will be an important stakeholder for national and international clients, as well as internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for implementing new products and technologies, state-of-the-art customer services, and efficient production and supply chain management.

The ideal candidate will have relevant management experience in the ink or packaging industry, a strong network in the market, and a pragmatic and transparent approach. You will be a great communicator in Italian and English and able to work in a matrix organization with colleagues from different regions, BUs, and Corporate Center.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a further management role in a global environment, take over a task in one of the most important markets for liquid inks in EMEA, and be part of the success of Siegwerk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor country strategy, objectives, and business plans in line with the region and BUs.
  • Take over full local P&L responsibility for our two sites in Italy and develop an efficient organizational structure and processes to reach targets in agreement with region, BUs, and Corporate Center.
  • Ensure that business plans and financial objectives are achieved and that Siegwerk is successfully positioned with its products and service portfolio.
  • Make sure that defined sales targets are achieved and you are an important stakeholder for our national and international clients as well as internal stakeholder.
  • Ensure the implementation of new products and technologies, state-of-the-art customer services as well as efficient production and supply chain management.
  • Be responsible for all upcoming HR and finance topics in collaboration with the responsible colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Based on your university degree, you have relevant management experience in the ink or packaging industry, desirable as Managing Director.
  • You have a strong network in the market and you quickly understand relevant processes and business models in the ink industry.
  • You have a pragmatic and transparent approach as well as strong decision-making skills.
  • You are able to think through problems analytically and develop successful solutions based on this.
  • You like to work in a matrix organization with your colleagues from different regions, BUs, and Corporate Center.
  • You are a great communicator in Italian and English.
  • You are able to be at site primary in Poppi but also Oleggio to be in close contact with the organization and the people.
