Job Summary:

Page Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in the Renewable Energy sector. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our investment fund.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Take responsibility for a portion of the Italian Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and provide support to the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with all statutory reporting deadlines and tasks.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Support the Italian company accounts processing and review, including liaison with external accountants, and provide support with internal management accounts relating to Group companies.
  • Financial Due Diligence: Assist with Finance Due Diligence on potential acquisitions and support the integration of new project acquisitions.
  • Financial Management of Holding and SPVs: Daily financial management of the Holding and its Special Purpose Vehicles in Italy, including carrying out monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAPs.
  • Financial Audit and Compliance: Manage the financial audit of SPVs and respond to requests from external auditors.
  • Business Partnership: Be a key business partner to Holding companies, as well as external accounting and tax advisory firms, and work closely with the Fund Controller and outsourced accountants and service providers.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration and professional accounting qualification.
  • Experience: At least two years' experience of preparing and reviewing management accounts, statutory accounts, and corporation tax computations, ideally within a practice environment and/or as an accountant in a company.
  • Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, and good communication skills at all levels.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Italian, with Spanish or any additional language considered a plus.

Contract and Benefits:

Perm contract, salary package based on previous experience, and smart working arrangement.
