About the Role

We are seeking an experienced computational mechanics engineer to join our team of software developers, working on a cutting-edge Structural Analysis Software that leverages Finite Element Method (FEM) and macro-elements to solve linear and nonlinear solid mechanics problems. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating functional prototypes and provide structural insights and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nonlinear solid mechanics solvers using advanced programming languages
  • Collaborate with our team to create functional prototypes and provide structural insights and feedback
  • Contribute to the development of our BIM software, ensuring seamless integration with our existing technology
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in solid mechanics and FEM
Requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering (structures, aerospace, mechanics, naval, etc)
  • Proven experience in implementing nonlinear solid mechanics solvers and seismic engineering research and analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of programming languages, preferably Python or C++
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills
