Job Title: Instrument Performance Specialist

Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with a strong presence in the global space industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Instrument Performance Specialist to join our team in the frame of the PDGS Engineering Support Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Data Quality Manager in aspects related to Instrument Performance, Operational Processors, and Calibration.
  • Review and analyze data quality metrics to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve instrument-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to instrument performance and calibration.
  • Provide technical support to instrument anomaly investigations and mitigation efforts.
Requirements:
  • University master degree or equivalent qualification in Remote Sensing and Earth Observation or related field.
  • Good understanding of geophysical sciences and/or specific instruments such as LIDAR, Radiometer, and MultiSpectral Imager.
  • Experience in instrument development, on-ground testing, and data quality control.
  • Fluent English language (oral and written) and good inter-personal skills.
