About the Role:
As a Software Development Engineer at Alstom Gruppe, you will be responsible for designing and implementing embedded software modules for complex diagnostics data management systems. Your expertise in C/C++ programming languages and experience with linux-based operating systems will be valuable assets in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software modules for embedded electronic equipment in compliance with software requirements and specifications.
- Monitor and control software development activities, manage project timelines, and report any delays or issues to the work package owner or supervisor.
- Integrate software modules within TCMS subsystems, including diagnostic systems and train-to-wayside communication systems.
- Manage configuration and provide support for supplier interface testing and train integration.
- Ensure the overall performance of executable code loaded on target and initiate action plans to solve issues and improve results.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or bachelor's degree in electronic or software engineering.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in software development, preferably in the railway or automotive domain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a team.
- Excellent communication and reporting capabilities, with a high level of proficiency in English.
