We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Sales Specialist to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. in South Italy. As a Field Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist and technical field support to customers, with a focus on Quality System solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Support Account Managers: Analyze customers' technical or organizational difficulties and needs, and elaborate relevant projects to support the sales team.
- Recommend Technical Solutions: Provide technical solutions, including answering customers' questions about the use of Quality System solutions, on-site or by remote access. Organize and conduct demos to showcase the benefits of our products.
- Organize and Execute Trainings: Organize and execute hardware and software set-up and on-site customer trainings to ensure customers can properly use our Quality controls and systems solutions.
- Support Sales Activities: Support the Sales Team and Distributors' sales activities to ensure territory and regional sales targets are achieved.
- Provide Field Application Support: Provide field application support when required and requested by the Customer Technical Support team and/or the customers.
- Document Activities: Document all activities and additional information gathered in CRM Salesforce.
- Collect Feedback: Collect feedback from the field and information on the product line, and report information in SFDC.
- Scientific Background: A scientific background coupled with business acumen is essential for this role.
- Experience in Healthcare Sector: 2 or more years of experience in the healthcare sector (IVD company, healthcare industry, hospitals laboratory, CoreLab, medical device market) is required.
- Diagnostic Laboratory Environment: Experience with diagnostic laboratory environment (instruments, software, workflow) is necessary.
- IT Solutions: Basic experience or aptitude for the IT solutions present in a Laboratory of Clinical Medicine (middleware, LIS, IVD software), connectivity and statistics is required.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Ability to identify customer needs and elaborate relevant technical solutions based on Bio-Rad's product portfolio.
- Demonstrating and Presenting Skills: Very good demonstrating and presenting skills are essential for this role.
- Problem-Solving Approach: Analytical and problem-solving approach is necessary to succeed in this position.
