Process Technician

Croda Italiana Spa, a multinational company operating in the innovative chemical products sector, is seeking a Process Technician to join its team at the Altavilla Vicentina site dedicated to biotechnological research and production of ingredients for the cosmetic and nutritional sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fermentation - Supervise fermentation processes: maintenance of cell lines, bioreactor setup, and fermentation monitoring.
  • Downstream Process - Formulate cosmetic ingredients derived from biofermentation processes.
  • Support Activities:
    • Cleaning - Restore the work area after operations, clean areas, and wash equipment.
    • Setup - Set up necessary equipment following sanitation protocols.
    • Process Control - Monitor and record process parameters and write batch records.
    • Instrumental Management - Maintain and control assigned equipment.
    • Process Attention - Report any discrepancies in production activities to the Production Manager.
    • Continuous Improvement - Encourage the proposal of improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency of daily activities.

Requirements:

  • Essential to have a higher technical or scientific diploma and knowledge of general chemistry and biology principles (having knowledge of in vitro cultures will be a preferred title).
  • Good team working attitude.

Candidates will be integrated into a young and dynamic team where autonomy and personal contribution to process improvement are considered essential parts of the role.
