About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic CRM & Customer Analytics team in Genoa. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and translating complex business inputs and requirements into actionable insights that drive the development process of our CRM Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development of mathematical models, including data collection, analysis, prototyping, testing, creating production systems, and developing performance metrics, focused primarily in the area of CRM and customer data.
  • Champion data science within our business to improve our understanding of customers' propensities and preferences within the products and services we provide.
  • Develop and maintain the Data Lake and CRM customer data, working with the CRM business analyst, CRM campaign coordinator, IT, and other departments to develop new data.
  • Chart the course for our Customer Analytics, acting as a focal point of competences, training junior scientists, business analysts, and management on the use of science models and tools.
  • Promote corporate culture and values among employees, leveraging positive relationships with the company's leaders to obtain optimum results.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience (5+ years) in developing, implementing, and maintaining Machine Learning/AI models and Optimization Algorithms in complex environments.
  • A data-driven mindset, strengthened by academic backgrounds in Economics, Engineering Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and another statistical programming language (Python or R); familiarity with Azure Databricks and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to connect innovations and projects to business opportunities.
  • Fluency in English.
