About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Jd Electrical Home Solutions Llc. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and instrumentation aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the site management team in executing electrical and instrumentation works on our projects, from erection to commissioning and start-up.
  • Review project documentation, including site instructions, installation manuals, and risk assessments, to ensure compliance with company standards and client specifications.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to ensure timely resolution of problems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Manage the installation and testing of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure they operate effectively, efficiently, and safely.
  • Supervise calibration, functional checks, loop checks, maintenance, and testing of equipment, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems as needed.
  • Prepare regular technical reports, maintain accurate documentation, and update relevant records.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on-site, fostering a positive work environment and promoting skills development.
Requirements
  • Strong electrical and/or instrumentation erection supervision background.
  • Basic education qualification: completed university studies as an associate degree or comparable degree.
  • Work experience with HT/LT/MV/LV and 3-phase power and equipment controls is a plus.
  • Previous experience in closely related positions, such as supervisor in construction, oil and gas, or chemical industry, power plants, or electrolysis.
  • Experience managing work crews and teams with a blend of different cultures and nationalities is considered a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written (German, Italian, or other European languages are a plus).
  • Availability to travel on prolonged stays at site and abroad.
  • Willingness to relocate, if required.
  • High attention to HSE topics and procedures.
  • Capability to manage stressful situations.
  • Practical approach with troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of IT tools, such as MS Office, design software, and MS Project.
