We're seeking a skilled Electric Drive Mechatronic Engineer to join our Headquarter at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), working within the Head of Electric Drive department.

Your mission will be to design and develop electric drive components, including AC/DC systems, electric motors, eAxles, and HV actuators, and integrate them into vehicle modules.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development, integration, and optimization of e-drive team key components
  • Defining the main functionalities of a complete electric vehicle architecture
  • Designing and optimizing existing components for weight savings and technical feasibility
  • Participating in virtual parts management meetings with Company System (ie Connect)
  • Accountable for 3D data for the complete e-drive team and components design change
  • Responsible for guaranteeing component development timeline and budget, and analyzing technical issues with suppliers
  • Preparing BoM and manual assembly (PDM) release accountable

About you

  • Degree in Engineering
  • At least 8 years' experience in related fields
  • Experience in e-drive components mechanical and electrical design and production process
  • Good knowledge of Pro-Engineer tools for thermal and mechanical analysis (ie FEM)
  • Fully proficient in English, German as a plus but not mandatory
  • Self-confidence
  • Flexibility (modifications, re-planning, coordination with other units)
  • Teamwork, also in the context of international teams
  • Empathy and active listening
  • Interpersonal communication and conflict management
  • Analysis and problem-solving
  • Avaliability to travel
