Agricultural GeoServices Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural GeoServices Specialist to join our team at Planetek Italia. In this role, you will be part of a motivated, highly skilled team, contributing to the growth and positive direction of our company.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert-level technical capabilities to execute and document project tasks, identifying and managing/mitigating risks to bring assigned activities to completion on time, within cost, and within specifications;
  • Establishing appropriate project/task/deliverable reviews and oversight to ensure technical quality, product delivery, and impactful work;
  • Contributing to the preparation of technical proposals for tenders;
  • Preparing and delivering all reports on time;
  • Interacting with a variety of stakeholders and partners to ensure project activities.

As an ideal candidate, you should have a demonstrable background in agronomy, a consistent understanding of GIS and EO concepts, and experience with EO/GIS software applications, such as ERDAS Imagine, SNAP, QGIS, and ArcGIS. You should also be capable of working on your own initiative as well as within a team, making a contribution to applied techniques and processes, and communicating effectively to promote innovative services to potential customers/users.
