Job Description

BCS Automotive Interface Solutions is a leading provider of automotive solutions, combining the experience of a long-standing supplier with the excitement of a new company. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams in resolving complex and business-critical problems that may arise
  • Support the local team as a Problem Solving Expert
  • Expand Problem Solving capability and capacity in manufacturing plants and design groups
  • Train and certify employees in structured Problem Solving techniques
  • Identify and remove barriers to problem-solving project success
  • Prepare and lead project status reviews with Quality Management Teams
  • Assess projects to evaluate quality and time
  • Calculate and forecast financial impacts and savings resulting from problem-solving activities
  • Support manufacturing processes to analyze and solve quality issues on production assembly lines
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Master and experienced use of relevant problem-solving skills and tools
  • Highly experienced in statistical analysis and associated tools, i.e. Minitab, Kaizen analysis
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Structured approach and strategic thinking
  • Experienced in delivering Problem Solving Training to individuals and teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Ability to work independently and effectively lead teams
  • Customer interface and negotiating skills
  • Experience in electro-mechanical module design and/or manufacturing
  • Strong Minitab, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint skills
Experience and Education
  • Minimum 3 years knowledge/experience. Automotive preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience resolving design and/or production quality/warranty issues
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
