Job Description

As a Cost Control Senior Engineer at Maire Tecnimont, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by effectively managing and coordinating cost control activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Control Manager in the handover meeting, endorsing backup documentation and analyzing data in terms of structures, congruities, and traceability.
  • Develop the original budget after receiving the commercial one during the handover meeting.
  • Establish the project organization scheme within the Cost Control System, including details data as per standard CBS.
  • Ensure full and autonomous knowledge of necessary Company Tools, such as Project Objects, SAP, Marian, and Capital Project.
  • Set up and implement the Project Invoicing Register as per Company procedures and Department's standard.
  • Develop the Invoicing Procedure in accordance with Contractual requirements as per Project Director/Manager and Project Control Manager indications.
  • Assist the Project Control Manager in assessing the Estimate to Complete for Project Phases.
  • Perform periodical control activities to assess project forecasts in terms of revenues, costs, and profitability, evidencing any deviations versus the Original/Revised Budget to the Project Control Manager.
Requirements:
  • Proactive approach as part of the Project Team oriented to the fulfillment of project objectives.
  • Ability to provide feedback to the Responsible of Cost Control concerning problems/deviations arising from the application of standard methods and work instruction to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department.
  • Guarantee the integrity of data during assessment of the Estimate to Complete.
  • Ensure technical specific improvement of the discipline.
  • Ensure the professional growth of the Cost Control Engineers and Junior Cost Controllers.
