We are seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join our team at Right at Home, a leading provider of home care services in Perth's southeastern suburbs.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to work in the aged care sector. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
You will process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently, reconcile accounts, and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Your expertise will also be required to generate financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate records of transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
- Prepare and submit tax returns
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or a related field
- Cert IV in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in XERO software and Microsoft Office Suite
