Job Title: Senior Golang Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Software Engineer to join our team at IT Recruitment & Staffing Agency in Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying microservices using DevOps practices and cutting-edge methodologies.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of microservices using DevOps practices and other cutting-edge methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, across teams, and the open-source community to drive feature development.
  • Develop a basic understanding of 5G core and related telco standards and architecture, and act as an ambassador for software solutions.
  • Work with state-of-the-art technologies like Kubernetes, Istio, etcd, Kafka, and more.
  • Interact with product managers, customers, and partners to drive different streams of feature development.


Requirements:


  • Back-end experience within Microservice architecture using Golang programming language.
  • Experience working with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience in CI/CD methods and practices and Infrastructure as code, e.g., Terraform.
  • Practical experience of TDD, BDD, DDD, and distributed architectural patterns.
  • Background working with event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar tools.
  • Experienced in end-to-end development processes, including unit, integration, and functional testing, application optimization.
  • Experience working with relational and NOSQL databases.
  • Fluency in English (German desirable but not essential).


Work Policy:

Remote EU-based.



Main Requirements:

Golang Developer (+4 years of experience)



Tasks:

Be an active, solution-oriented member of an autonomous, agile team collaborating with Product Owners, across teams, and the open-source community.

Interact with product managers, customers, and partners to drive different streams of feature development.



Qualifications:
