The Customer Service Bid & Quote Specialist plays a vital role by supporting the local Sales team in the creation of bid proposals and standard quotes. This position is responsible for ensuring customer expectations are met when delivering solutions to bid and quote inquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Professionally interpret standard and major project quotation inquiries to maximize Zumtobel Group's opportunity to secure the project.
  • Provide excellent support to meet service levels and performance targets.
  • Propose, check, and agree to the most appropriate commercial and technical offer based on sales and customer requests, within current business guidelines.
  • Understand, interpret, and communicate technical and commercial concepts in a way that is appropriate to each customer type.
  • Generate technical and commercial information to support the bidding/quotation process.
  • Manage spare parts inquiries.
  • Liaise with sales, lighting designers, and controls & systems teams to select appropriate products.
  • Liaise with CPD, TPP, Order Management, and other internal teams where appropriate.

Your Profile

Professional/technical education - Many years of work experience in customer service, sales, or exports.

Good knowledge of the lighting market, written and oral English, computer skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as intercultural competence.
