About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Commissioning Engineer to join our Grid Technologies division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical implementation of innovative solutions into the current Grid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement project processes in collaboration with other teams.
  • Coordinate technical project resources to achieve project goals.
  • Prepare technical specifications and evaluate supplier offers.
  • Lead technical meetings with suppliers and customers.
  • Interface with various business units and support the proposal team as needed.
Requirements
  • Professional background in project design with high technical content in electromechanical fields on high voltage systems.
  • Academic background in electrical, mechanical, or general technical fields is a plus.
  • Knowledge of specific IT programs (AutoCAD, Elcad, Cadelet).
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian, with availability for business trips.
  • Strong focus on achieving goals, customer satisfaction, initiative, autonomy, and teamwork.
  • Professional experience and certification in commissioning of high voltage equipment related to main manufacturers.
Bonus Points
  • Qualified experience with BIM design process.
  • Professional experience in design and commissioning of control and protection boards with related drafting of functional diagrams and wiring charts in the HV-MV substation area.
  • Professional use of specific Electrical simulation tools for commissioning of protection, control, and auxiliary systems.
  • Professional use of instrumentation for integrity and circuit verification Current and Voltage Transformers (e.g. ISA, OMICRON, etc.).
  • Significant experience in testing and commissioning of auxiliary systems and protection relays of manufacturer HV-MV substations and HV RTN substation.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Siprotec protection relay and related Digsi configuration software and of Siemens SICAM A8000 Remote Terminal Unit.
