As a Validation Automation Specialist at Renesas Electronics Corporation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functional correctness of our Power Management ICs in the lab environment. Your primary responsibility will be to devise and implement validation techniques for all features, creating a comprehensive validation test plan. You will work closely with cross-site teams to design and develop test benches, including hardware board design and software coding. Your expertise in lab automation techniques, hardware and software reuse methodologies, and Python programming will be essential in delivering high-quality results within tight schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement validation techniques for Power Management ICs
- Create comprehensive validation test plans and execute test cases
- Design and develop test benches, including hardware board design and software coding
- Collaborate with cross-site teams to achieve automation goals
- Contribute to the development of high-quality lab automation solutions
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of post-silicon bench validation experience
- Good knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronics
- Knowledge of voltage regulators, key parameters, and measurement methods
- Expertise in lab automation, board-level analog and digital circuit design, and Python programming
- Ability to work with minimal instructions and deliver results under tight schedules
