Software Design Engineer

At Analog Devices, Inc., we are seeking an experienced engineer to join our European Central Applications Team. This role will involve providing technical support to our customers, field sales, and distribution teams for our industry-leading high-performance products, solutions, and reference designs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support by phone, email, and face-to-face customer engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to customers, field sales, and distribution teams.
  • Assisting customers with product selection and recommendations.
  • Delivering customer product trainings.
  • Reviewing customer schematics and layouts.
  • Designing hardware in support of technical troubleshooting.
  • Writing technical articles and application notes.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree with 3+ years of experience in the semiconductors/electronics industry in applications engineering, preferably in customer support roles.
  • General knowledge of analogue & mixed signal electronics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a global organization with complex matrix structures and cross-functional teams.
