The Role
You will play a key role in shaping our product development processes and ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders across the globe. As a Product Lifecycle Management Consultant, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement business requirements, develop functional specifications, and lead workshops to capture and document requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with customers to ensure accurate understanding of needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with multiple project teams to design and implement PLM solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop detailed user requirements, provide clarity for development and QA functions, and validate product functionality.
- Support training efforts for Services, Sales, and Marketing departments.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in PLM.
Core Competencies
- Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing abilities.
- Ability to conduct software demonstrations and maintain effective communication at both business and functional levels.
- Self-motivated leadership skills to facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and drive project forward.
- Able to quickly learn new products, systems, applications, and technologies.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in English, both in written and verbal communication.
Education Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in preparing functional requirements, working with use cases, business process modeling, and preparing use-case or sequence diagrams.
- Knowledge of full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of and experience in using software design and modeling tools (e.g., UML, etc.).
