Pirelli, a global leader in the tyre industry, is seeking a skilled Prestige Product Engineer to join its development team in Milan. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the development of new tyre sizes for the Original Equipment (OE) market, from business discussion to industrialization.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop tyre specifications by analyzing indoor and outdoor test results and simulations.

• Define mould profiles and tooling by simulations.

• Collaborate with various company departments, including testing, quality, marketing, planning, and others.

• Support local factory development teams in the manufacture of prototypes.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of tyre components and materials, as well as their impact on handling, indoor integrity, and performance.

• Work with the modelling team to define and develop new OE prestige projects using simulation tools and the simulator.

• Assist in organizing outdoor test sessions to evaluate the interaction between vehicles and tyres under various conditions.

• Familiarize yourself with procedures, technical documentation, and legal certifications required for tyre industrialization.

Required Skills

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering.

• 1-5 years of experience in the tyre or automotive industry.

• Ability to summarize results and formulate an action plan.

• Strong team working skills, with the ability to collaborate with R&D, Quality, Logistics, and OE teams.

• Project management, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Expertise in vehicle dynamics is a plus.

• Fluency in English (German is a plus).

• Excellent skills in MS Office, CAD software.

• Good skills in Matlab.
