Job Title: Construction Manager

Job Summary:

Hunterphilips is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the execution of complex EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage EPC contractors, ensure adherence to project timelines, and act as the primary communication link between the Owner and contractors.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with industry standards and project quality requirements through regular inspections and audits.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensure environmental compliance, and manage incident response and investigations.
  • Cost Management: Monitor the project budget and identify cost overruns.
  • Risk Management: Identify any potential project risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent the Owner's interests on site and manage relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
  • Technical Design and Problem-Solving: Review and approve technical designs and provide problem-solving assistance to contractors.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Oversee commissioning and testing, ensuring smooth handover of the completed project to the operational team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in Construction Management, with a proven track record of managing complex EPC projects.
  • Language: Fluency in Italian for all written and verbal communications.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  • HSE Knowledge: Clear understanding and knowledge of HSE.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Proficiency in quality control and compliance.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Effective progress tracking and reporting abilities.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Logistics:

  • Contract Duration: 15 months.
  • Work Schedule: Must be willing to be present on site 100% of the time.
