We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Amazon Italia Transport Srl. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for driving health and safety initiatives across our sites in Italy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Assist in the development and implementation of safety programs to ensure compliance with local and EU legislation.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Train and Educate Employees: Facilitate training programs on critical health and safety issues and assist in the coordination and training of new Health and Safety team members.
- Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with operational and support function stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of health and safety initiatives.
- Monitor and Report Safety Performance: Monitor and report safety performance metrics to ensure compliance with company goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in health and safety management in a logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and EU health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to support at different locations in Italy as needed.
