Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Engineer to join our team in Milano, Somaglia site. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing data related to warehouse performance and process steps, supporting the business in all its functions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and multitask. A bachelor's degree in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent is required, while experience in logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and reporting of logistics processes
  • Analysis of historical and actual data of logistics processes to determine trends, accurate forecasts, and reporting for Corporate and Customer from a financial, volume, and performance perspective
  • Preparation of specific analyses on specific areas of the warehouse, using Excel files and PowerPoint presentations to be presented to Management, Corporate, and/or Customer
  • Lean activities: continuous improvement with focus on the quality of the processes, supported by a cost/benefit analysis
  • Calculation and monitoring of the costs of the various activities
  • Communication with the Customer, suppliers, and all the various company departments and functions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics/Transportation
  • Experience in logistics is a plus but we welcome fresh graduates
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Being able to reach the site by own car (no public transport available)
