About the Role

HITACHI RAIL STS S.P.A. is seeking a skilled System and Signaling EMI/EMC Engineer to join our team. As an EMI/EMC Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our railway systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prevent and resolve EMI/EMC issues related to product development, subsystems, and the integration of railway systems.
  • Manage and fulfill EMI/EMC requirements throughout the project life cycle.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve EMI/EMC interfaces among subsystems.
  • Execute technical analysis and simulations on EMI/EMC.
  • Verify EMI/EMC documents according to the V&V Plan.
  • Plan and execute on-site System EMI/EMC tests.
  • Contribute to solving EMI/EMC issues by supervising technical analysis and measurements.
  • Participate in EMI/EMC laboratory tests for equipment and on-site tests of subsystems.
  • Prepare EMC technical files.

Requirements

  • EMC Railway and Metro System Engineering expertise.
  • Requirements Management & Development and Interface Management for EMI/EMC.
  • Experience or study background in electrical system engineering and electronic engineering.

Desired Skills

  • Project leading.
  • Railway signaling expertise.

Education and Qualifications

  • Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunication Engineering qualifications or university degree.

Languages

  • English - Proficient.
  • Italian.
