About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions and improving existing products in line with our product standards and market specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new mechanical parts and assemblies of Low Voltage Enclosures, collaborating with our design team and adhering to specifications.
  • Coordinate prototype construction to ensure timely completion and analyze experimental tests to verify technical solutions.
  • Support our Production, Quality, and Engineering departments during the implementation of new products or modifications to existing ones.
  • Propose necessary materials, create Material Master Data, and provide Bills of Materials for products.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD tools, such as Creo 8.0 and CATIA V5.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, tolerance analysis, and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
