Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Staff Functional Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for guiding the strategy and evidence to prove that our methodology for achieving functional safety is reasonable and the best-known method in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement functional safety strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop safe and reliable products.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety cases and safety manuals.
- Provide training and support to colleagues on functional safety best practices and procedures.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Microelectronics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive development, with a focus on functional safety.
- Proven experience in creating safety concepts and analyses, including FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA.
- Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design and integrated circuits.
- Architectural understanding of integrated devices and experience as a designer within a R&D organization is a plus.
- Fluent in English is a key requirement for this role, Italian is a plus.
