Project Specialist

Purpose of the Role

The position is part of the Engineering Department, reporting directly to the Plant Senior Manager, at the Perfetti Van Melle company.

Main responsibility is to initiate, define, implement and guide projects for the Gorizia site. It is required capability of managing projects for the engineering department, focusing on, but not limited to, new production lines, packaging lines and utilities. Optimizing new and existing installations inside the factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate & define projects: Work out of project proposal, feasibility study and project definition, including budget, planning, P&ID, layout and elaborate different scenarios and alternatives in collaboration with local R&D;
• Coordinator of Engineering projects: Selection of equipment and suppliers, discuss local projects and divide the tasks and workload, follow worldwide standards and guidelines for equipment and installations, initiate innovations to improve efficiency and/or quality of production.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in process/technical education;
• 4/5 years of experience in technical position;
• Experienced in project management;
• Desirable experience in manufacturing department, Engineering or Maintenance;
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and process engineering;
• Problem solving capabilities
• Good communicator both in Italian and professional English
