Job Summary

ERG S.p.A. is seeking a talented Layout Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing wind farm and solar plant layouts, ensuring compliance with performance indicators, territorial constraints, and grid connection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop optimal layouts for wind farms and solar plants, considering technical solutions, quality, time, and costs.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and advisors to identify the best technical solutions.
  • Manage project drawings, layout optimization, CapEx calculation, project validation, and due diligence.
  • Run sophisticated internal models, statistical, and GIS models to ensure project best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Permitting, Legal, Real Estate, Procurement, and Resource Assessment departments.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Energy.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Engineering of international renewable energy projects.
  • Bilingual in English and an additional European language (French or Spanish).
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office Applications and relevant design software, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and PVcase.

Location

Based at head offices in Genoa, Italy, with sporadic travels to project sites in different European Countries.
