Job Title: Regional Health and Safety Manager

Amazon Italia Transport Srl is seeking a skilled Regional Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for driving health and safety initiatives across our AMZL sites in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety performance metrics and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with personnel, team, and functional goals and objectives.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date WHS systems, including incident reports and supporting documentation.
  • Design and deliver training programs on critical WHS issues, and assist with the coordination and training of new Health and Safety team members.
  • Support the implementation of WHS programs within Operations, including risk assessment activities and compliance with local and EU legislation.
  • Collaborate with the WHS Manager to develop incident prevention programs and act as a proxy in their absence.
  • Contribute to the improvement of on-site safety and positively impact accident trends.
  • Prepare responses to insurers or solicitors in response to personal injury claims, and participate in Safety Audit Programs.
  • Organize and facilitate site Safety Steering Committee meetings, and conduct basic surveys and checks in the Delivery stations environment.
  • Travel to support at different locations in Italy as needed.
