We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant General Manager to join our team in Florence, Italy.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a new hospitality concept in Florence and contribute to its success. As an Assistant Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.

  • Supporting the Restaurant General Manager in developing and implementing operational strategies to drive sales and improve efficiency.
  • Leading by example, maintaining high standards of service quality, and empowering team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Collaborating with the Restaurant General Manager, Head Chef, and Sous Chefs to ensure seamless communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and managing labor costs to maintain budgeted levels.
  • Coordinating with the Restaurant Manager to maintain financial and administrative records.
  • Ensuring proper food presentation, handling procedures, and inventory management to enhance sales.
  • Handling guest complaints and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar restaurant management role in a fast-paced environment.
  • A balance between a methodical approach and flexibility when it comes to meeting deadlines and finding solutions.
  • A track record of managing large teams, inspiring trust, and bringing others along on a journey.
