About the Role

This position involves leading and managing projects and activities during the life cycle of electronic products after release. You will be responsible for ensuring interdependencies between cross-functional workstreams are managed to realize specified deliverables and benefits.

The work model for this role is on-site, with a focus on contributing to the Electrification in Frosinone. Main stakeholders include the R&D team, manufacturing quality, and related areas.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage cost, schedule, and performance objectives of projects and their work packages within a global organization, taking into consideration customer requirements and internal demands.
  • Ensure transparency around change requests, unforeseen results/events, and identified risks, and ensure they are properly managed and communicated.
  • Manage all product variants and customization requests in accordance with the ABB gate model from request to release for sales.
  • Work closely with product managers, operations, sales units, and development teams to provide the best solution to fulfill business cases and customer satisfaction in terms of response and delivery time, quality level, and product performance.
  • Transfer new products from R&D development teams to Operations with all required documentation (BOM, working instructions, spare parts lists, product manuals, etc.).
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • A positive spirit, proactivity, teamwork, speediness, and problem-solving orientation, with a commitment to delivering results by executing assigned tasks and projects.
  • Innovative thinking around manufacturing technologies, with related experiences considered a plus.
  • A good knowledge of MS Office and 2D/3D CAD systems.
  • Proficiency in communicating in English and Italian.
