At Animoca Brands Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team and help build the infrastructure that powers Web3 blockchain games. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend architecture and infrastructure for our blockchain game, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Backend Architecture: Design and develop the backend architecture and infrastructure for the blockchain game, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Server-Side Logic: Implement server-side logic, APIs, and data structures to support game mechanics, player interactions, and blockchain integration.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to establish efficient communication and data flow between the backend and frontend systems.
  • Smart Contract Integration: Integrate smart contracts into the backend infrastructure to enable seamless interactions with the blockchain, including asset ownership, in-game economies, and player rewards.
  • Blockchain Operations: Implement backend logic to interact with smart contracts and handle blockchain-related operations, such as transaction verification and event processing.
  • Optimization: Optimize backend systems for high performance, low latency, and scalability to handle a large number of concurrent users and transactions.
  • Security: Implement robust security measures to protect user data, transactions, and sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Backend Development: Strong proficiency in backend development, including experience with server-side programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Golang.
  • Database Management: Solid understanding of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • API Design: Experience with API design and development, including RESTful APIs.
  • Blockchain Knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain concepts and experience with smart contract integration.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
