As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for coordinating equipment and machinery activities, collaborating with project management and procurement teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate engineering activities and report to project and engineering managers on task status.
- Ensure efficient communication and collaboration with project management department.
- Plan and execute engineering meetings, reporting, and milestones.
- Supervise and approve project documentation, including equipment and machinery design.
- Ensure quotation requests to vendors and external engineering resources comply with internal rules.
- Supervise and approve technical evaluation of quotations for mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate inspections on mechanical equipment at vendors' workshops.
- Support sales and service departments with equipment and machinery cost estimation and consultancy.
- Collaborate with internal technical departments, including engineering management, process, layout, and piping, instrumentation, and electrical.
- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in engineering companies operating in industrial plant design.
- At least 5 years of experience in coordinating equipment and/or machinery teams.
- Experience in planning and following up resources and activities on short-term and mid-term time horizons.
- Knowledge of main IT tools, including Word, Excel, and AUTOCAD.
- Good spoken and written English language skills.
- Availability for business travel worldwide.
