Impact and Responsibilities

As a Deputy Boutique Manager at Cartier, you will play a key role in driving sales and clienteling initiatives to achieve brand, boutique, and product category targets. You will assist the Boutique Manager in making accurate diagnoses and proposing action plans to achieve these goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively assist the Boutique Manager in making accurate diagnoses and proposing action plans to achieve brand, boutique, and product category targets.
  • Lead the creation, implementation, and monitoring of action plans, with a focus on day-to-day sales and clienteling activities.
  • Assist the Boutique Manager in ensuring a unique and high-professional client service, personalized approach, and memorable in-store experience for every team member.
  • Assist the Boutique Manager in implementing and monitoring a strong clienteling proactivity from each team member, including regularity and accuracy of individual and collective prospection actions, and the efficiency of proposed initiatives to enlarge the boutique's and staff clients portfolio.
  • Position and establish yourself as a well-known referent and Ambassador of the Maison, growing a visible personal presence in Rome and beyond.
  • Give solid support to the Boutique Manager in building direct, fruitful, and long-lasting relationships with a constantly growing network of VIPs and influential people.
  • Coach all team members in the development of their own prospects and clients portfolio.
  • Monitor competition's initiatives, including product launches, retailtainment activities, client events, and treatments.
  • Establish a positive, engaging, and dynamic work atmosphere.
  • Ensure the day-to-day coordination, training, coaching, and motivation of the boutique team.
  • Implement all brand and boutique policies, procedures, and guidelines, and ensure the proper respect of compliance rules and principles.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Well-structured, business-driven skills with strong analytical and leadership abilities, organized, and autonomous.
  • Confirmed management experience, and retail/boutique background, non-necessarily in the luxury sector.
  • Customer service skills, empathy, team spirit, and benevolence.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, assertiveness, and ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Flexible mindset and ability to drive change and embark teams, at ease in working in a fast-paced retail store environment.
  • Proactive approach in analyzing business needs and allocating means and resources to reach targets.
  • Relevant, strong, and extensive prior professional experience.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, additional languages a plus.
  • Interest in and adherence to the Cartier brand's identity and Maison's values.
