Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Regulatory Affairs team within the Nutrition division of a prominent American multinational operating in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be integrated into the Regulatory Affairs Office, receiving comprehensive onboarding support and will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in regulatory strategies for the registration and reimbursement of new products in the nutrition and general food sectors, aligning with corporate strategies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining product compliance throughout their lifecycle.
  • Monitoring and implementing new regulations to support business growth and compliance.
  • Evaluating the impact of upcoming regulations on product usage through industry associations.
  • Registering products, securing approvals, and managing reimbursement processes as necessary.
  • Negotiating with Regulatory Authorities during review processes to ensure product registration and reimbursement approvals.
  • Participating in NPI project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and effective communication of regulatory risks and opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with new regulations and guidelines within legal deadlines.
  • Reviewing labels, formulas, technical data sheets, and promotional materials to ensure alignment with local regulations and codes of conduct.
  • Providing technical and regulatory support to internal stakeholders.
  • Working independently in collaboration with international colleagues.
  • Engaging in documentation related to current and future regulations through industry associations.
  • Assessing and communicating the impact of relevant regional standards in the local market.
  • Reporting on products, budgets, productivity, and contact levels related to this role.
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences, specifically in biology, chemistry, microbiology, medical technology, pharmacy, pharmacology, or equivalent fields.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in Regulatory Affairs, with expertise in Nutrition and General Food products.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Project Management: Strong project management capabilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Goal-Oriented: Ability to work towards business objectives.
Additional Information

What We Offer:

An initial 6-month contract through our agency, with potential extensions.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Compensation: Competitive salary package in accordance with the Chemical Pharmaceutical CCNL, including meal vouchers.

Location: Rome
