Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead our deck outfitting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in naval architecture, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global team.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Coordinate the work of the engineering team and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Design and Development: Develop and implement design solutions for deck equipment arrangements, including anchor and mooring plans, ladder, railings, life rafts, hatches, platforms, etc.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including class approval processes, and ensure compliance with classification provisions and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standard.
- Communication: Provide technical advice to clients and stakeholders, and ensure that all communication is clear and concise.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, and develop solutions to complex problems.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Naval Architecture: Strong background in naval architecture, with a deep understanding of design principles and technical documentation.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in software such as Acad, SolidWorks, and Cadmatic.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a global team, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
