Energy Platform Specialist


We are looking for a highly skilled Energy Platform Specialist to join our Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Team in Bollate, Italy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and configuring PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs for seamless operation and communication within the site infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Designing and programming SCADA systems for efficient data acquisition, visualization, and control.
  • Utilizing Codesys language to develop customized control logic for automation tasks.
  • Implementing OPC-UA, Modbus, TCP/IP and other automation protocols for data exchange.
  • Configuring Ethernet and intranet settings to establish reliable communication networks within the infrastructure.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and RTU functionalities and programming.
  • Experience in SCADA programming and design.
  • Knowledge of Codesys language for control logic development.
  • Familiarity with OPC-UA, Modbus, TCP/IP and other automation protocols.
  • Expertise in configuring Ethernet and intranet settings.
  • Solid understanding of software and IT principles related to automation and monitoring systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
