About the Role:

We're looking for a highly experienced executive with a strong background in the music industry, particularly in Southern and Eastern Europe. As the Head of Artist and Label Partnerships, you will be responsible for leading our efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with labels and artists in the region. This includes developing and executing strategic partnerships, managing a team of professionals, and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Spotify's relationships with labels and distribution partners in Southern and Eastern Europe
  • Manage, mentor, and empower the Artist and Label Partnerships team
  • Track, review, and evaluate artist and label priorities, as well as culturally relevant moments
  • Become fluent with Spotify data, insights, and tooling to inform strategic marketing
  • Work directly with SEE label and distribution partners to gather insights and develop executive-level priority campaigns
  • Work in partnership with local and global editorial teams to ensure content strategies are localized and successfully implemented
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal teams to fulfill company strategic goals and cross-functional projects
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of leadership or management experience in the music industry
  • 10+ years of experience building global marketing campaigns or handling complex projects
  • Established passion for and engagement with the music community, with a deep understanding of various genres and cultures of music coming out of Southern and Eastern Europe
  • Strong music and technology background, with a deep understanding of music marketing and operations
  • Excellent negotiating, presentation, and people skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives
  • Fluent level of written and spoken English, with a perfect level of written and spoken Italian and/or Spanish
